Score!

Again, this weekend I went to Jersey and made runs at Wal-mart and Michael's. I know, I know, I should really stop shopping at a place that is such a terrible corporate citizen, but...
I got needles, crochet hooks, and yarn for co-workers I am inducting into the world of knitting and crocheting.
For myself, I finally gave in and bought a knitting spool for I-cords, cable needles (my boy had made me a really lovely brass one, but it's a size 11 or so) and a set of pom-pom makers. (Dude, I'm tired of cutting out cardboard circles!)
I also picked up two cro-hooks, one of which has a flexible cord in the middle to make for easy long projects. I'm trying to resist starting a cro-hook afghan, it seems like such an exciting new technique for me to learn! (My life is so sad.)
Also they had frilly novelty yarn (Bernat Boa and Paton Twister) on sale so I was forced to purchase 4 balls.
I was somewhat unpleasantly surprised at my total at the cashier. Oops!
